Stagecoach stages Easter 'egg-stravaganza' in Torbay

On Friday 12th April Stagecoach South West held an ‘Egg-stravaganza’ event in Torbay to launch their egg-citing Easter competition and celebrate the return of the ‘Golden Hop’ service this Easter.

This year, the public have the chance to take part in the ultimate Easter egg hunt onboard the bus. Using one of their special Easter egg hunt check list, passengers are invited to spot the different coloured eggs, hidden on board our Stagecoach buses, and complete their check lists by filling in each egg’s unique code for a chance to win a giant Easter prize. DEVONIANS are being encouraged to visit the elderly this Easter because it can be one of the loneliest times of the year for them alongside Christmas says a domiciliary care provider (April 2019).

Guardian Homecare, which has offices and teams in Exeter, says many older people fear they will be lonely for the break as friends and relatives often go on holiday during the four-day weekend.

The Donkey Sanctuary has a packed programme of activities over the Easter holidays. Visitors can help celebrate the charity’s Golden Anniversary and take part in an Easter Egg hunt around the Sidmouth sanctuary. The Easter Holiday Hunt is the perfect way to explore the sanctuary and find out more about some of the most iconic donkeys that have been brought into the care of The Donkey Sanctuary over the years.

The Exeter branch of RGB Building Supplies is continuing its fundraising for Children’s Hospice South West with an Easter competition.

Between Monday 12th March and Monday 26th March, the branch is inviting customers to make a donation and guess how many mini eggs are in a tub for the chance to win a Marvellously Magnificent Easter egg from Thorntons.

The person who guesses correctly, or comes the closest, will be named the winner and invited to the branch to collect their prize in time for it to be enjoyed over the Easter weekend.

Children’s Hospice South West’s (CHSW) Little Bridge House hospice near Barnstaple, would like to thank everyone who donated gifts for its children and families this Easter
