Creative Kid's Easter Workshops @ Bunyip Craft

Bunyip Craft on Fore Street, Exeter, is excited to be hosting extra Creative Kid’s sessions in the Easter holidays! In these workshops you’ll be able to get making with spring decoupage, easter cross stitch and bracelet making. We recommend these classes to those between ages 6 & 16, but smaller ones may be perfectly capable too.

The cost is £5 per person, which includes all of the materials and refreshments. To book you can either book online, in the shop or on 01392 437377 – these classes do get very busy so we can only guarantee you a place if you book in advance.

Chocolate and Candy fortnight

The amazing chocolatier returns with his tasty team from Pocketwatch Theatre who have affection for perfection in confection! There is plenty to see and you can discover the science behind sweets and chocolates. Don’t forget the castle is open on Saturday 4th April.

This event is included in a child's standard admission. (Children returning with a free return ticket or a discounted ticket may take part in our themed activity for £2.50)

Exeter School's international success

Exeter School pupils have certainly made the most of their Easter holidays with six representing their country in sport from water polo to rounders.

Year 11 Ben Green is representing England U17s in cricket and is currently on tour in Sri Lanka. Ben has had good success in the one-day series and has previously just been selected for the three-day game which began on 24 April. At the end of the one-day series, he was the leading wicket taker on tour and the fourth highest run scorer.

Free Easter eggs will be handed out to the first 500 children at Exeter Racecourse’s family day which takes place next Tuesday (April 15). Exeter Racecourse has launched a fabulous new art competition for children aged 11 and under with the overall winner featured on the front page of its racecard on Family Day, April 15.

Exeter want children to come up with vibrant designs which depict the colour and vibrancy of a day at the races, from the brightly coloured silks worn by jockeys, to smiling faces in the crowds.

Great start to the season for leading Devon family attraction
