Exeter art wins international prize

Shortlisted from 105 entries, an artwork developed for an exhibition at RAMM has won an international linocut prize.

Exeter-based artist Volkhardt Müller adapted 12 little plastic TVs with musical clockwork to play finely carved miniature lino cuts on a perpetual roll for the Witness Box display in the exhibition, Any High Street. More of Volkhardt’s work can be seen in the current display at RAMM by Devon-based artist collective Blind Ditch: This City’s Centre.

Adam Isaac sings live at Crealy's fireworks event

Crealy hosts a special fundraising fireworks evening in aid of its nominated charity Families for Children.

This event will be opened by one of the charity’s patrons – much-loved TV star, Caroline Quentin. And to get guests warmed-up for the fantastic fireworks display, Adam Isaac, best known for his appearances on The Voice, will be performing song from his new album and other favorites.

Adam Isaac is on stage at 5pm and the fireworks start at 6pm.
