Down at the Greenwood Centre this half term you’ll find Hagatha our resident witch who is making a brew for the grossest Yucky Dip in Devon ready for Escot Fright Nights.

Come along and help stir the cauldron if you can bear the smell! Get ready for Halloween and with help from our friendly witches and wizards, choose and carve your own pumpkin to take home with you.

There is a small charge for the pumpkins

Exeter Chiefs duo Jack Nowell and Henry Slade were both on the scoresheet as England concluded their World Cup with a comprehensive 60-3 rout of Uruguay in Manchester.

Winger Nowell crossed three times for Stuart Lancaster’s side, as did No.8 Nick Easter, while Anthony Watson plundered two and there was also a debut score for Slade and a penalty try.

National Youth Against Cancer Week runs from the 12th – 18th October and encourages young people to join the fight against cancer in their age group by raising awareness and funds by holding their own events. Schools and colleges up and down the country are been encouraged to take part.

Devon and Cornwall Police are supporting National Hate Crime awareness week and are appealing to victims of hate crime to come forward to the Police.

The week will highlight a variety of activities and events across the Force to raise awareness.
