Officers from the serious collision investigation team are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision on the A3079 near Thorndon Cross, Okehampton.
The incident happened at 8.35am on Saturday 13th August 2016 and involved a grey Ford Focus and a red Peugeot 206.
A 25 year old local woman who was the front seat passenger in the Ford suffered serious injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene

A playday event run by East Devon’s StreetScene team in Exmouth’s Phear Park in support of National Playday, has proved immensely popular with the local community.

Fire appliances from Tiverton, Cullompton and Middlemoor, along with the water bowser from Danes Castle were mobilised to a report of a barn on fire at Lower Town near Halberton at 1.45 this afternoon (12 August).
Upon arrival the crews requested a further three appliances due to smoke and flames issuing. These cane from Wellington, Danes Castle and Witheridge together with the Incident Command Unit from Honiton.
