Special police officers from British Transport Police and Devon and Cornwall Police joined forces for a level crossing and driving offences operation at Exeter St David’s railway station on Friday (8 December).
The operation was entirely planned and organised by Special Constables from both British Transport Police and Devon and Cornwall Police, who support their community by volunteering.
They worked alongside officers from the Devon and Cornwall Polie and Dorset Police Alliance Roads Policing Team.

Tributes have been paid to teenagers Aaron Reilly and Joshua Brock who both tragically died after collapsing in Pryzm nightclub in Plymouth.
Police were informed by ambulance at around 1.40am on Saturday 9 December of two men unconscious at Pryzm nightclub in Plymouth. Aaron and Josh, both 19-years-old later died at hospital.
The family of Aaron Reilly, said: “Aaron was a much loved son, brother, grandson and boyfriend. He loved to skate, play computer games. Like most teenage lads he liked a night out with his friends and was respected by them as a non-drug user.

Police in North and West Devon are warning van owners to be extra vigilant following a spate of van thefts in North Devon.
Over the last few weeks there have been several thefts of tools and other trade equipment which have been left in vans. Officers are advising the public not to leave their tools and equipment for prolonged periods in their vans, especially overnight.
