Exe-Arts is a community arts initiative offering 4 months of workshops open to the public, encouraging people to try out different art forms and meet up with other community members. Following the success of Winter Stories and Snow Crafts at Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park with Devon Libraries, the second event in the partnership has been announced. Spring Stories and Mother’s Day Crafts will take place at Devon’s Crealy on Wednesday 11th March 2015.

Guests of all ages are invited to join Buddy Bear and story tellers from Exeter Library at Mamma Mia’s Restaurant at Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park from 10am – 1pm for interactive spring time stories and creative Mother’s Day craft sessions.

Scrapstore supremo calls for community input

An Exeter charity faced with rebuilding its headquarters is calling on artistic and creative individuals and groups to help by completing a short survey.

Over the last 30 years the Scrapstore has provided a wealth of arts and crafts materials to families, community organisations, schools, playgroups and artists across Devon.

Now in its fourth year as a charity the Scrapstore is looking to the future. Its current home, a hut in the corner of Belmont Park is over 75 years old and will need replacing or a major makeover.
