Michelmores donates over a hundred PCs and monitors to schools

As part of Michelmores' efforts to help local communities in Exeter, Bristol and London, the Firm is donating over a hundred PCs and monitors to schools in these cities. The initiative is to help children and teachers have access to online learning and contributes to significant interaction with valued online resources in classrooms and at home.

Over 12,000 residents and businesses from communities across Devon and Somerset have already improved their digital skills and knowledge through the successful Get up to Speed Service. The Get up to Speed team runs free workshops and talks for communities and businesses to help boost digital skills and share the benefits of current or future faster broadband. The next Exeter Raspberry Jam will take place on Saturday 7th November at Exeter Library between 10:00 - 12:00. It will take place in the Rougemont Room rather than Meeting Room 1. Just ask in the foyer if you're not sure where to go. As usual there will be lots to do, plenty of help and advice and pis to play with.
