One of Britain's most sought after ensembles, the Aquinas Piano Trio, has been booked by Concerts in the West to play at St Michael & All Angels Church, Great Torrington on Saturday 14 September. The three players who form the trio - violinist Ruth Rogers, cellist Katherine Jenkinson and pianist Martin Cousin - are all major prizewinning solo artists in their own right and have performed at prestigious venues such as Wigmore Hall, Royal Albert Hall and the South Bank Centre.

An Evening To Remember: Fine Food And Music At Ramm

The fact that Toby Kearney won the percussion section of the BBC Young Musician of the Year Competition in 2006 speaks volumes for the calibre of this young percussionist who, together with renowned pianist Harvey Davies, will be performing at St Michael and All Angels Church in Great Torrington, on Saturday 9 March, for the new 2013 Concerts in the West's series.

Toby Kearney is a must for audiences of all ages. As a percussionist his technique is first class and the energy he puts into his performances makes for compelling and exciting entertainment.

Devon concert will Celebrate Our Soldiers

Former MP and war correspondent Martin Bell will join Violinist Tamsin Waley-Cohen next month for 'Celebrate Our Soldiers', one of the most unique concerts Exeter will see during 2013. A night of Classical and Choir Music will take place at Exeter Cathedral on 23rd February at 7.15pm, featuring some of Devon’s finest performers and musicians. The aim of the concert will be to help the Devon branch of ABF The Soldiers' Charity continue their support of Devon’s soldiers and families affected by war.

An outstanding, multi-award winning mezzo-soprano from the Ukraine, Anna Starushkevych, will be the first performance of the 2013 Concerts in the West season. Accompanying her at Lower Pulworthy in Highampton near Hatherleigh in Devon, on Saturday 9th February, 7.30pm, will be gifted young pianist Justin Snyder, who is currently studying for his second masters degree in London.
