Aquinas Piano Trio to play on 14 September at St Michael & All Angels Church, Great Torrington

One of Britain's most sought after ensembles, the Aquinas Piano Trio, has been booked by Concerts in the West to play at St Michael & All Angels Church, Great Torrington on Saturday 14 September. The three players who form the trio - violinist Ruth Rogers, cellist Katherine Jenkinson and pianist Martin Cousin - are all major prizewinning solo artists in their own right and have performed at prestigious venues such as Wigmore Hall, Royal Albert Hall and the South Bank Centre.

Formed in 2009, The Aquinas Piano Trio has extensive chamber music experience with a busy concert schedule that has included performances at King's Lynn and Brighton festivals, King's Place, London and the trio's debut this season at St John's Smith Square, London.

The Aquinas Piano Trio's musical programme for Devon will include: Beethoven: Trio in B flat Op 11; Saint-Saiens: Trio No 1 in F; Mendelssohn: Trio No 2 in C minor.
