Easter pop-up Drama club

'Imagine That' Drama club will be running a 'pop-up' Drama club for 7-16 year olds in America Hall on Monday 4th April.

For fun, games and giggles make sure you book a place.

7-11 year olds will be from 1-2pm and 12-16 year olds from 2.15-3.15pm.

Zumba fun at school fete

The Montgomery Primary Little and Junior Starz* put on a spectacular display of Zumba at the school's annual Summer Fete, which was enjoyed by both children and adults.

JM DanceFit Zumba Kids classes, which allow children to have fun while improving both their confidence and fitness levels, are held in the main school hall at Montgomery Primary.

New children are welcome to join the Tuesday afternoon termly classes which are available to those who attend the school.

Super-sized classrooms will impact on Education

Leading independent education recruitment specialist, Classpeople, warns of the impact on education created by over-sized classrooms following a statistical report by the Department for Education.

The report outlines a 2.1% increase in the number of children in state funded primary schools.

Lynis Bassett, Classpeople director, explains: “The education sector is already under huge amounts of pressure with a national teacher shortage. More and more teachers are choosing to leave the profession which means the reports of increased pupil numbers are a huge concern.”
