A new walk-through coronavirus testing facility has opened for those with symptoms to book appointments at the University of Exeter, St Luke’s Campus College House, (EX2 4TH), in Exeter as part of the Government’s UK-wide drive to continue to improve the accessibility of coronavirus testing for local communities.

An exciting and innovative new dementia service has just been launched for the local community of Teignmouth. The Ness Shed is built on the researched and well-known concept of the ‘Men’s Shed’ and, using the expertise of trained professionals, creates a unique environment for individuals with dementia to take part in manual and creative activities.

Queen’s Drive in Exmouth including associated facilities for water sports users such as a café, restaurant and retail spaces as well as associated car parking.

Members of East Devon District Council’s Development Management Committee have voted in favour of granting planning permission for the construction of a new water sports centre and facilities for water sports users such as a café, restaurant, retail spaces and car parking at Queen’s Drive in Exmouth.

Lidl UK has officially started operations from its new Regional Distribution Centre in Exeter. This £55 million investment has created approximately 500 jobs and will service 40 stores across the region during the busy Christmas period, rising to 51 from February 2018. The new, 50,000 m² hub in the Exeter Gateway business park comes as part of Lidl’s wider investment and modernisation programme across the South West. EDDC signs agreement with developers for new watersports centre in Exmouth

An important milestone has been reached with the signing of a Development Agreement between East Devon District Council and sustainable property company, Grenadier Estates, which will see the creation of a locally focused watersports centre on Exmouth seafront.
