Topsham organic mattress maker Naturalmat is celebrating business success with the announcement that its products are to be stocked by world-renowned retailer Harrods.

The Devon company, which has been hand-making the finest quality mattresses and bedding from organic and natural materials since 2002 will see six of its products available in the iconic Knightsbridge store.

An Exeter-based entrepreneur has launched a new business, supporting South African companies to relocate or expand their business in the UK.

Richard Veal relocated his successful signage business, BarkerMad, from Johannesburg to Exeter in early 2015 and has now pledged support to other business people who would like to travel the path he has taken.

Exeter Lidl depot to create 500 jobs

Britain’s fastest growing supermarket, Lidl UK, has revealed plans to open its 12th Regional Distribution Centre (RDC) in East Devon, following the submission of a planning application to build the 50,000 m² warehouse on a site at Clyst Honiton. The submission of the application follows the purchase of the site in February of this year, and will pave the way for up to 500 new jobs for the area.
