Mal Evans was the Beatles roadie, but he was also their closest friend, he toured the world with them, took part on their recording sessions and films. He was there when they met Bob Dylan and Elvis. He was their protector when their lives were threatened in the Philippines and present when they studied with Maharishi in India.
