Jake Evans has been named Apprentice of the Year at the Hendy 2017 Service Awards for his outstanding work at Hendy Honda Exeter.

The title was one of the key awards which saw top technicians and administrative staff from Hendy honoured at the company’s annual awards ceremony.

To celebrate the 10th National Apprentices Week (March 6 – 10), home builder Barratt has announced a unique community project at its development in Cullompton.

The new scout hut at Saxon Fields will be built entirely by apprentices covering a range of skills including bricklayers, site management and carpentry. An ambitious 18-year-old from Cullompton, is celebrating ahead of National Apprenticeship Week (6-10 March 2017), after securing a coveted place on an in-demand apprenticeship programme with national optician Vision Express. An Exeter man has scooped the title of Apprentice of the Year from his employer Western Power Distribution (WPD).
