Launched today (Tuesday 5 November), Remember when… encourages people to complete and return their home bowel cancer screening kits to help catch signs of the disease early.
The campaign shines a spotlight on bowel cancer as the fourth most common cancer in the UK, with around 44,000 people being diagnosed each year.

An Exeter charity has appealed for the public’s support as it aims to win top prize in a national competition, enabling significant improvements to its services.
SAFE Foundation is one of 12 finalists from around the UK in the hunt for £5,000 in Selco Builders Warehouse’s Community Heroes competition, which attracted nearly 2,000 entries.

The new Bishop of Exeter, Rt Rev Dr Mike Harrison, has become the new Patron of Exeter’s local homelessness charity, St Petrock’s immediately following him taking up the position formally at the start of this month.
