The regional heats of the Petfringe Comedian of the Year competition will be held here at Sandy Park, where we already have a well-established comedy night.

The event takes place on Friday 9th September and will include nine of the best rising stars of comedy, who will perform for the chance of reaching the Grand Final. The competition looks to support comedians who are funny week-in, week-out around the UK yet are often overlooked by other awards.

Perfectly timed in the middle of a heatwave, staff and residents at Barchester’s Cumberland Grange care home in Exeter had a fantastic time celebrating National Ice Cream Day on July 17, a brilliant excuse to sample lots of cooling treats.
