Family solicitor Shreya Kallingal has joined The Family Law Company ’s Divorce and Finance team in Exeter.

Before moving to the UK Shreya grew up in Coimbatore in South India. Her mother is a family lawyer and although Shreya considered pursuing medicine as a career she decided that working with people through times of distress would be a personally fulfilling choice, and that the interdisciplinary nature of the subject was an interesting prospect.

AN AWARD-WINNING ice-cream company has revealed this month (December 2022) how it worked with a fellow Devon-based business to create carbon balanced packaging sleeves for its range.

Granny Gothards joined forces with Newton Abbot-based Newton Print to develop the packaging for its pots of luxury ice-cream going on sale in Waitrose.

Exeter Community Initiatives (ECI), a charity based in Exeter, has been given 40 free Christmas pantomime tickets by Exeter Northcott Theatre to distribute to local families.

The Heart of the South West LEP is urging Government to support the establishment of regional mutual banks, to help support SMEs and drive inclusive economic growth.

The Dormant Assets Scheme (DAS) allows banks and building societies to pay financial products which have not been used for several years, such as dormant bank accounts or insurance, into a fund for good causes.
