Local sports clubs have a chance to win a £10,000 lump sum as part of the Proud To Pitch In initiative, a grassroots funding scheme by Greene King IPA .

Local bus operator Stagecoach South West have launched a brand new cross city connection in the form of Routes 4 and 4A.
