VEHICLE leasing experts Carparison have opened a ‘one stop shop’ to help South West businesses with their fleet needs.

Exeter recycling scheme reaches major £10k milestone

Exeter City Football Club (ECFC) and Exeter City Council’s innovative recycling scheme, Cans4City, has reached a major milestone.

The scheme, which encourages Exeter football fans to recycle used drink cans whilst also raising money for charity, has now raised more than £10,000 with all funds raised going towards projects and initiatives run both by the football club and its partner charity Exeter City Community Trust (ECCT).

One of the first Devon cancer patients to be recruited onto a ground-breaking trial in the region has spoken of his relief at receiving cutting-edge treatment following his diagnosis.

Last week officers, staff and volunteers across Devon & Cornwall took part in the successful national Neighbourhood Policing Week of action (23 Jan for seven days).

Boost your childcare budget this half term

As the February half term draws closer, families are being reminded that they can save up to £2,000 a year on childcare costs with Tax-Free Childcare.  

More than 37,600 families in the South West used the scheme in September 2022 and benefitted from the government paying towards childcare costs.
