A scientific services business from Devon has been recognised by the UK’s most prestigious business awards.

Brixham-based Scymaris was today unveiled as a winner of the prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise, in the International Trade Category. Aldi is recruiting new colleagues in Devon as a result of its continued expansion in the area.

In a welcome boost to the local economy, the UK’s fastest growing supermarket is currently recruiting for at least 40 Store Assistants, ranging from 10 - 30 hours per week.

Aldi is looking to hire for these roles at three stores in the area: Forde Close Store in Newton Abbot, Brixham Road Store in Paignton and the new Kerswell Gardens Store in Torquay, due to open later this year.

Five Volvo motor retailers in the South West are being renamed, following the acquisition of Helston Garages Group Limited by Vertu Motors plc in December 2022.

The showrooms in Barnstaple, Exeter, Taunton, Yeovil and Truro have been brought under the Vertu Motors retail brand.
