Paper Aeroplanes is Sarah Howells and Richard Llewellyn, a song spinning duo who have been compared to the likes of Gemma Hayes, Turin Brakes and Nerina Pallot.

Their musical partnership began six years ago in small town west Wales and in 2009 they released their debut album. Its distinctive sound under Sarah’s beautiful vocals was described by the BBC’s Adam Walton as “brilliantly crafted and stoked from a bruised heart’s embers.

Having since gained considerable recognition amongst some prominent champions of new music, such as 6 Music’...

Following a recent report by The Royal Voluntary Service (RVS), predicting that half a million elderly UK residents could spend Christmas Day alone, NFU Mutual, the UK’s leading rural insurer, is concerned that the problem of isolation is much greater for elderly people living in rural areas due to a lack of access to reliable broadband.

While the Government is keen to encourage elderly people to use social media and video-calling to contact distant relatives, such systems are reliant on access to reliable and affordable internet access, something which can be a postcode lottery in...

Since the Masterplan, or Exmouth vision, was agreed by all three councils (Devon County, East Devon District and Exmouth Town) in 2011 significant...

Exeter City crash out of FA Cup

Match report: Warrington 1 Exeter City 0

Exeter City finished on the wrong side of a famous FA Cup upset as Warrington Town earned a place in the second round of the FA Cup at Cantilever Park with a 1-0 win.

It was a header from a corner by Craig Robinson that was inadvertently turned in by Graham Cummins which was the difference on the scoreboard at the final whistle, and gave the Evo-Stik NPL Division One North team a place in the hat.

Liam Sercombe and David Noble came in for Jimmy Keohane and Arron Davies in the two changes Paul Tisdale made to the line-up which...
