Local children at two Honiton primary schools have chosen the designs for eagerly awaited improvements to the Bowling Green - Millers Way and Langford Avenue play areas in Honiton.
East Devon District Council and Honiton Town Council have been working closely to spend £46,850 on improvements to the play areas in the town. Just over £28,000 will be spent at the Bowling Green - Millers Way playing field and a further £18,500 at Langford Avenue.

Hundreds of original paintings will go on display at the Devon Art Society ´s spring exhibition at St. Annes Hall, Babbacombe. There are classical themes covering floral, still-life, figurative and landscape as well as seascape subject matters and some abstracts too. The Devon Art Society of Torquay was founded in 1912 and has a long tradition of exhibiting and selling high quality paintings. Pupils from Marpool Primary School in Exmouth recently took a free train trip on the Avocet Line which links Exmouth and Exeter, to visit Exeter Cathedral as part of their Religious Education studies.
