THE iconic image screen on the front of Exeter Cathedral is to undergo an extensive renovation – made possible thanks to the support of The Prince of Wales who made a donation through The Prince of Wales’ Charitable Foundation.
The three rows of statues on the West Front were added to the already constructed Cathedral between 1340 and 1470, and depict angels, kings and prophets and disciples of Jesus.

FoodCycle, a nationwide charity with 29 projects, uses surplus food from supermarkets to cook healthy, three-course meals for people who are in need of a warm meal and a chance to meet other people in their community.

New figures announced today (Thursday, 21st April) show that recorded crime continues to fall across Devon and Cornwall.
Crime recorded between the 1st April 2015 and the 31st March 2016 shows a 3.8 per cent reduction on the same period the year prior. This equates to 3,021 fewer crimes compared to 2014/15.
Victim based reported crimes reduced 5.2 per cent with further reductions in burglary dwelling (14.9%) and burglary non-dwelling (11.5%); plus vehicle offences (10.1%); theft (13.1%); shoplifting (12.5%); and criminal damage (6.2%) also saw a reduction.
