Art goes digital for young people in Devon

Young people in Devon will be working with professional artists to explore new innovations in digital media. Daisi is celebrating its success in receiving an Arts Council England Grants for the Arts award for the project, Art Machina. With the £47,582 award, the research and development project will develop digital arts practice using innovative digital media. Exeter Racecourse has announced it is sponsoring at Bicton Arena’s international horse trials which take place in East Devon on August 19 to 21. The racecourse is supporting the prestigious CIC2* which includes a £500 prize to the highest placed seven-year-old horse competing in the class.

Written in about 970AD, the Exeter Book is the oldest of only four surviving books of Anglo-Saxon literature anywhere in the world.
