Tiverton-based poultry farmer, Stuart Cole, who supplies Oakham Gold chicken to M&S through the 2 Sisters Food Group, is one of seven farmers taking part in the new, seven-year Farm of the Future programme. Cumberland Grange care home in Exeter recently presented FORCE Cancer Charity with a cheque for £215.87 following on from a successful coffee morning held at the home. FORCE provides free support and information to anyone affected by cancer at their centre in Exeter and at local community hospitals. They offer counselling, group sessions, complementary therapies, benefits advice, specialist physiotherapy and exercise guidance and other health and wellbeing support. The Exeter Dementia Action Alliance (EDAA) have partnered with Training2Care who are pioneers of the Virtual Dementia Tour (VDT) in the UK.

Training2Care have now created Dementia Interpreters training addressing the vital importance of communication and language in dementia support.
