Award winning Private Eye Cartoonist Tony Husband is coming to Exeter to support the Exeter Dementia Action Alliance (EDAA) with their invaluable community work.

EDAA and their committed member Stephens Scown LLP are hosting an afternoon tea event on Thursday 29 June where Tony Husband will read through his book, which is part of the national Reading Well on prescription scheme for Dementia - Take Care, Son: The Story of My Dad and his Dementia.

Tony's dad's story highlights the complexities of the disease with sincerity, emotion and humour.

Rackenford Church of England Primary School in Tiverton, is the first local school to take part in the Ken White Signs (KWS) 50th anniversary competition.

The children were asked by the teachers to create a bespoke graphic representing a motivational message as part of the school’s aims to provide a stimulating, happy and educational environment, encouraging respect for others and teaching Christian values.

Exeter School is hosting a British Shooting Target Sprint on 10 June, open to all aged 11+. No experience is needed and all the equipment is provided.
