An app which gives people real-time information about their local urgent NHS services has been shortlisted in two of the most prestigious national awards: the Health Service Journal (HSJ) Awards and the Times Higher Education (THE) Awards. Princesshay have a free family event on 22nd September in celebration of bees. The event includes artwork, family workshops and tours from 10am to 4pm to celebrate the centre’s rooftop garden, home to thousands of bees.
The event will unveil a brand-new, temporary art installation representing flowers loved by bees and created by aptly-named artist, Bee Watson. Figures just released for the first full five years of Help to Buy in Exeter have revealed that almost 650 homebuyers have used the government scheme to buy their new home.
The figures show that 649 people in the city have taken advantage of the scheme since it was launched in April 2013.
