Experienced Chartered Accountant and business adviser Patrick Tigwell has joined Thomas Westcott as a Partner. Patrick, whose appointment brings the number of Partners at the fast-growing firm to 30, will be based in Thomas Westcott’s Exeter office working across its portfolio of regional and national clients.

Celebrations as new stand is unveiled at Exeter City Football Club

There were celebrations at Exeter City Football Club today when it officially unveiled its new £3.4 million stadium redevelopment.

The project, which has seen the construction of a new stand, changing rooms, away end, and associated facilities, will be opened to fans for the first time on Saturday.

Appeal after hedgehog found poisoned in Devon garden

The RSPCA is appealing to locals of Totnes for information after a hedgehog found dead in a back garden was found to have been poisoned.

Found by a homeowner in Riverside, Totnes last Friday afternoon (19 October) the hedgehog had blood around his mouth and nose.

The concerned homeowner took the hedgehog's body to a local vet where it is thought the hedgehog died as a result of poisoning.

The RSPCA has issued an appeal for information to find out more about what happened.

Degree Level students at Exeter College celebrated their ‘Golden’ graduation in the magnificent setting of Exeter Cathedral.

Hundreds of guests, friends and family, came together to celebrate the graduation of more than 165 students from the college’s Centre for University Level Studies.
