Topping-out ceremony marks East Devon school’s progress to completion

Children from Year 2 at Westclyst Community Primary School (WCPS) walked into their new school hall for the first time on 29 April, when the official Topping Out ceremony took place at the site of the brand-new building in Hillside Gardens, Westclyst.

Grand support for award-winning scheme

A charity supporting children and young people through the loss of family members has been gifted £1,000 to support its work in the region.

Balloons provides pre and post-bereavement support to children and young people and their families in Exeter, Mid and East Devon and has been awarded funds from Persimmon Homes South West’s Community Champions fund.
