Four Years of Resistance: Voices of Ukraine in Devon
On Tuesday, 24 February 2026, Exeter will mark 1,461 days since Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine—an assault expected to end within days, yet met with extraordinary resilience that continues into 2026. Behind the headlines lie thousands of lives lost and millions of futures upended, alongside a people whose spirit remains unbroken.
This winter has brought renewed hardship. Ukraine continues to endure relentless missile strikes and targeted attacks on its energy grid, leaving families without light or heat in temperatures as low as –25°C. This deliberate campaign of “cold terror” demands an unwavering response of solidarity.
By joining this gathering, participants send a clear message to those currently in the dark: “You are not alone. You are not forgotten. We stand with you.”
