Lib Dem president visits Exeter
President of the Lib Dems, Mark Pack, visited Exeter last Friday 13th October to a warm welcome from a packed room of local members.
Particularly touching was when Mark described the difference one Lib Dem MP can make. This is exhibited every Saturday with marriages happening all over the country since a Liberal Democrat MP, Lynne Featherstone, put gay marriage on the agenda one decade ago.
Will Aczel, the local Lib Dem Parliamentary Candidate, welcomed Mark Pack back to Exeter. Will spoke about the key differences between the Lib Dems and Labour.
The Lib Dems firmly believe decision-making should involve those affected. Whereas, Labour opt for the top-down ‘we know what's best for you' approach.
