100 HOLES
3 intrepid golfers will play over 5 continuous rounds of golf this Friday (June 16th) in an attempt to play 100 holes at Teign Valley Golf Club.
This feat will see 3 of the club’s well-known figures – Pete Layland (mens captain), Nathan Davies (East Devon League captain) and Dan Hugo (incoming B Team captain) – playing more golf in one day than many keen golfers play in a month. They are starting at first light – approximately 4.30am and hope to be finished by around 8.30pm - roughly 16 hours. The 3 friends and team mates will be raising money for Prostate Cancer UK and Purple Angel Dementia Awareness and hope for loads of continued support from fellow club members and have already received donations from other visiting golf clubs.
