Body of man found in the River Exe

At about noon today, Tuesday 12th February 2013, emergency services were called to the River Exe near to the Tally Ho! where a group of kayakers are reported to have found a body.

Ambulance staff attended but the man was declared dead at the scene. His body has been recovered by the fire service and removed by the undertaker.

His identity is not certain at this time.
