Junction 29 closures beginning Monday 11th February

Overnight closures are planned next week on the A30 westbound from Daisymount Junction to the junction of the A30/C832 near M5 Junction 29.

The closures will be over three consecutive nights on Wednesday 13th, Thursday 14th and Friday 15th February from 8pm to 6am to enable overhead gantry signs to be replaced over the westbound A30.

This work was previously postponed due to adverse weather.

During the closure of the A30 westbound, the A30 Daisymount Junction westbound on-slip will also be closed as well as the Airport Junction westbound on slip.

Diversions will also be in place. A30 westbound traffic will be diverted from Daisymount Junction via B3180, Half Way Inn, A3052, A376, Sandygate roundabout, Moto Roundabout, Moor Lane to Moor Lane Roundabout.

Traffic wishing to go westbound on the Airport slip road will be diverted to Daisymount to follow the diversion towards Moor Lane Roundabout.

The C832 access to the Junction 29 southbound entry slip and the C832 access to the A30 westbound will remain open.

On the A30  Eastbound, there will be a night-time nearside lane closure in the eastbound direction on the A30 for drainage works. The restriction will be put in place from the new signal junction  to the East of the M5 overbridge.

Also, during the day on the A30 Westbound, there will be a lane restriction outside peak times on the A30 westbound, to the west of Blackhorse bridge. The lane to be closed is adjacent to the central reserve.

The Contractor carrying out the work is South West Highways.
