Property agent returns to Exeter to take up new role
Daniel Kortland has been appointed by Savills in Exeter to its Residential Sales team.
Having joined Savills in January of this year, Daniel spent the first ten months at the Brook Green office in London. Prior to this, he worked for a major competitor covering Marylebone, Mayfair and the West End where he worked closely with a range of international and domestic clients on both residential and new developments.
Daniel’s role at Savills will focus on Exeter’s town properties and new build developments in and around the city. Having grown up in Exeter and studying at Exeter School he moved to Cheltenham to complete a degree in Sport and Leisure Business Management at the University of Gloucestershire. Following his graduation in 2013, he moved to London to work in property where he remained until his recent return to the South West.
Daniel comments, “My experience in agency in London has been invaluable and I look forward to bringing what I have learned to this new role and challenging role in Exeter.”
“My partner and I have just purchased our first home in the city which is a brand new property on a development so the personal experience of buying and selling is current and real. This gives me an understanding of the challenges some of our buyers, particularly first timers, will face. Since returning to Exeter, I have resumed playing football and golf as well as catching up with family and friends – it reminds me what a fantastic place Exeter is to live in and the strength of the community here.”
