A total of 1,351 people are taking part in the South West’s first neon night run, being held in Exeter this weekend.

The sponsored event has proved so popular that organisers at Hospiscare are looking for more volunteers to help from early evening on Sat May 30 in the event arena.

The 5k run starts from the University of Exeter where there is a Neon Wonderland.

Entry for the race is now closed.

If you can help on the night please call Celia Wilkinson, Hospiscare’s event organiser, on 688093 or email: c.wilkinson@hospiscare.co.uk.

Hospiscare is the local hospice charity, delivering and developing free end of life care for Exeter, Mid and East Devon, helping people during the final chapter of their lives.
