
European Theme park coming to Exwick
Colin De-Vey of Anderton & Rowland’s is promising all the fun of a Theme Park Fair in Exeter, when the huge European Theme Park comes to the town.
For eleven days the Exwick Playing Fields will host a fantastic selection of rides and attractions commencing on Thursday 12th of June and running until Sunday 22nd of June.
European Theme Park however is different to any other fun fair or venue with visitors paying just one charge to enter and enjoying all rides free of charge.
For a single price of either £6.99 for a family wristband which includes all inflatable’s, kids rides, the Dodgems, Waltzers and Twist or a premium wristband for £9.99 which includes all rides including white knuckle thrillers or wholesome family attractions including the giant Wild Mouse Spinning Rollercoaster!
Families to the event will be able to sample some of the best rides in Europe! Non ride wristbands are available for just £2 while on Thursday 12th from 6-9pm and, Saturday’s and Sunday’s from 3-5pm kids will be able to meet characters from children’s TV and Film! The first Saturday will also see the Cumberland Giant’s of It’s a Knockout fame battling it out in a specially designed arena.
On weekdays there will be one opening session from 6pm to 9.00pm, while there will be two opening sessions on Saturdays & Sunday’s from 3pm to 6.00pm and from 6pm to 9.00pm.
Visitors are advised to get to the park early to maximise their time within the security controlled site and take full advantage of the rides and attractions on offer.
Colin De-Vey commented: ”This is a novel idea for the region which proved extremely popular with guests of all ages last year. Anderton & Rowland’s proud to be able to bring the European Theme Park back to Exeter and hopefully we will enjoy the wonderful support which is always evident on our visits to the area.
"Exeter is no stranger to fairs, although at many events you pay for the attractions you want to ride. European Theme Park is different with some of the biggest rides and we wanted to be able to provide a new experience where families could enter our security controlled park and enjoy unlimited free rides for a reasonable charge.
"I believe in the current economic this represents excellent value and with free riding on the attractions once inside the gates we can guarantee none of our guests will leave the event disappointed.”
Rides and attractions at the event range from the huge Italian Wild Mouse Roller Coaster with spinning cars one of the biggest portable rides in Europe, the Jumpin’ from Spain to the gravity defying Meteor.
Offering upside-down thrills will be the Phantom Menace; while there will be also an opportunity to simulate a Bob Sleigh run on the Thriller Matterhorn from Germany.
Traditional rides and attractions will also be available such as the Waltzer’s, Dodgems, the Orbiter, Terminator, and the Big Wheel, while the youngsters will be able to ride their own Roller Coaster, enjoy a huge car ride, ride the chairs or sample the latest toy rides.
