Serious collision near Honiton

Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to a serious collision on the outskirts of Honiton at around 12.30pm today (7 April 2014).

Four vehicles, a Mercedes, Lexus, Fiesta and a recovery vehicle were involved in the incident on the A35 between Honiton and Wilmington.

A female passenger from the Fiesta has been taken to the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital with life threatening injuries.

The road is closed in both directions while investigations take place at the scene.
