(NewsPoint) – Dozens of anti-austerity protesters temporarily 'occupied' the Apple store in Barcelona on Wednesday in opposition to the government's unpopular solutions to the ongoing recession,

The protest was organised by the minority anarchist labour unions CGT and CNT, and also saw a brief 'rampage' in a Zara clothing store, breaking glass and hurling mannequins and clothes onto the floor.

The action came as train and metro workers in the city were on strike, and thousands marched in neighbouring Portugal's capital, against the parliament's acceptance of the government's 2013 austerity budget.
