Does Exeter Have Devon's Best Burgers?
Exeter is one of the best places to visit for a holiday, thanks to its rich history, vibrant culture, and proximity to Devon countryside and coastline. Based in East Devon, it's easily accessible to reach many parts of the county. Its status as the county's capital makes it a hub of activity, offering visitors a perfect blend of city life and natural beauty. Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks were interested in finding out more about the top 20 burger spots in the county, especially with National Burger Day happening last month!
How was the data collected? Tracking down the restaurants and eating at every one wouldn’t be an easy feat, so the next best thing is Tripadvisor. The team at Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks looked for restaurants that are famous for their burger (with a high % of the reviews talking about burgers) and, based on overall ratings and total number of reviews, created standardised scores to make it a fair competition.
They then compiled a list of the top 20 in the county and ranked them based on these standardised scores. Incidentally, two of the restaurants were in Woolacombe, well positioned for those staying at the parks to hunt down.
