The University of Exeter can be a great choice for high school graduates who want to pursue a degree. The university has more than 22,500 students across campuses, and you can be one of them. Check your mailbox as often as you can

The university will offer you plenty of tips but you have to check your emails. You will be sent important information so make sure that you read everything. It is recommended that you check your junk folder as well.

UniCard

Your UniCard is very important and you need to apply for it before you arrive there. You will receive you card from SID in the Forum once you get there. You can also get it from Info at St Lukes which is located in the St Luke’s Campus, or Info Point, Peter Lanyon Building.

Accommodation

If you are looking for Exeter accommodation you should know that there are plenty of options available. If you want you can also find some alternatives on the University’s website as well. You should also decide what you want to pack when you move.

First of all you should check how much luggage space you have available. Additionally, for university accommodation you can check the website and see what is already included in your room.

Online registration

Registering at the beginning of the academic year is something that you must do yearly. You will do this when you agree to the regulations of the University. In order to register you will need to activate your IT account first. You will find out how to do this from your Welcome to the University of Exeter email. You will receive a password, username as well as a university email address.

Once you have your account you will need to log in to the Student Record System. There should be a box with the words “Welcome to online registration”. For international students things are a bit different as they might not be able to complete online registration until they arrive there.

Health Centre

Once you become a student there you should also register with a Health Centre. Registering with the Student Health Centre online is possible for those based on the Streatham campus. If you will be a student at Rowancroft or St Luke’s you should choose The Heavitree Practice. Expert Self Care is also recommended for new students because it is an app the offers free health advice for students. The application is available on both iOS and Android devices.

If you are going to study at the Exeter University you could also benefit from downloading the iExeter app. The application is available for free and it comes with useful information that is personalised for each student. The app comes with various services that are meant to improve your student life. You can also a find a web version of the app.
