Graduation day is one of the most important events in your kids' lives.

To show your kids that you're proud of them and to give them even more confidence for the future challenges in life, you should throw an amazing party. However, to keep within budget, you can choose to use your own garden. By making a few tweaks it'll become a spectacular and magical place for fun and entertainment.

Use the School Colors as the Party Theme

The party's theme will be reflected through the entire arrangement of your garden. You can use your kids' school colours and integrate them into the theme. If the school's sign is red and white you can mix those colours into decorations such as flowers, vases, balloons, and toys. Consider baking some small cakes to show off the theme. You can use artificial colour syrups or powders to make the crust or creams reflect the tones of your kids' school. It's a great way to make your kids understand how important that school was in their lives.

Set Up a Bar

Install a mobile bar in your garden and decorate it in the colors of your party's theme. Feast It offers a wide range of beverages and alcoholic drinks for special events and their experts will help you with organising mobile bar hire. Set out a tablecloth onto the bar with different cartoon characters on it to make things more exciting. Serve natural beverages such as apple, orange juice, and homemade lemonade. Keep still and sparkly water close by because your kids will need to keep hydrated after so much running around and dancing.

Have a Big Screen Slideshow

You can set up a large screen slideshow with pictures of school memories. Before the party, you can create a unique PowerPoint file with photos from various school events such as theatre plays, Christmas parties, or pictures from school field trips. At the end of the slideshow you can include pictures from the party you're hosting. You can also add live video feed for a more interactive feel.

Play Guess the Baby Grad Matching Game

You can all have fun at your kids' party by playing Guess the Baby Grad Matching Game. In the invitations you send out to your guests ask them to bring pictures from their baby showers. Collect all the pictures and tape them up on a wall including a number under each. Players should match each baby picture with the right name. At the end of the matching round, the player who has the most correct guesses wins.

Host a Floating Lantern Send-Off

At the end of the party, you can take the kids to the closest park for a floating lantern send-off. Take them to the lake, give each kid a floating lantern and have them make a wish. When everybody has finished wishing you can all send off the lanterns into the deep skies. The kids will be excited to watch the lanterns float away and cast beautiful patterns.

Your kids deserve the best garden graduation party. Prepare, plan and get ready to have a blast. You don't need a professional planner or a specialized event organizing company, this is an event which will touch your heart from beginning to end. Get involved 100% and you'll make your kids as happy as ever.
