Exeter Racecourse is delighted to announce a new partnership with The Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF) for ELF Raceday, taking place on Friday 5th December 2025.

Through this collaboration, ELF and Exeter Racecourse will launch a special gifting programme aimed at bringing joy to children and families supported by the charity during the Festive season.

Bicton Arena to stage Devon's first international horse trials

Bicton Arena is readying itself for Devon’s first ever international horse trials, which take place on April 24-26.

Sponsored by Worcestershire-based Empire Coachbuilders, a well-known horsebox manufacturer, the trials are expected to attract a plethora of stars from the sport of eventing, including some of the world’s most famous names. Exeter Chiefs skills coach Ricky Pellow believes news that the European Grand Prix 7s Series is heading to the Westcountry is a major coup for the rugby-mad region.

Ian Whitten admits there was a glowing sense of satisfaction within the ranks after Exeter Chiefs returned to winning ways in the Aviva Premiership with a 46-17 victory over Newcastle Falcons on Saturday.

Exeter Golf and Country Club has launched new initiatives to encourage more young people to play golf and help reverse the national decline in young golfers.

Reports by England Golf and the English Golf Union demonstrate the decrease in golfers aged under 30 years old. Both organisations recommend strategies to help golf clubs rectify this and future proof talent in the sport, along with increasing the overall number of golf members nationally.
