Registration for one of the country’s most popular cycling events, the Dartmoor Classic Sportive, opens this Saturday (5th November) when cyclists from across the globe have an opportunity to book their place on this iconic sporting event.

Organised by the Mid-Devon Cycling Club, the 11th Dartmoor Classic will take place on 2nd July 2017. Up to 4,000 places are available and such is the demand for the event that organisers expect all places will be snapped up in under 24 hours, repeating the success of the past three years.

Eight horses are entered in the prestigious Grade 2 contest which is run over two miles and a furlong, including the 2015 Queen Mother Champion Chase winner Dodging Bullets.
