Summer running with Ironbridge Runner Events

Just started running and want to experience a race? Or a seasoned runner wanting to compete during the summer season?

Then Ironbridge Runner Events has plenty for you to choose from.

Starting off on Sunday 5 May, there is the Exeter Family Run Run. With no minimum or maximum age restrictions, this 1.5 mile event around Exeter Quay is something the whole family can enjoy.

Alongside this event the Schools Challenge will be taking place. Children from Exeter primary schools who have been running a mile a week will complete their challenge to run a cumulative half marathon on 5 May.

Why not come along and show your support for these youngsters by taking part in the Fun Run?

The Run Exe Summer 5k Series will commence on Tuesday 14 May. This year there will be 5 events - one a month finishing on Tuesday 3 September. This 5k series starts and finishes by the Flowerpots changing rooms and the route follows a flat, 2 lap, traffic free course around the playing fields and flood relief channel. These events are suitable for all abilities of runner and are a great way of testing progress over the summer months.

Ironbridge Runner Events are excited to announce a completely new running event for Exeter - Le Tour of Exeter.

This will take place over 3 days on 26, 27 and 28 July, and will consist of 3 stages, a 10k road race, an 8k trail race in Haldon Forest and will finish with a 5,000m track race at Exeter Arena. The formula will follow that of the Tour de France, with a King of the Mountains Stage at Haldon Forest and a Green/Sprint Jersey in the final event.
