Reid in Team of the Week

Youngster named in select XI on full debut

Exeter City youngster Jamie Reid was voted into the npower League 2 Team of the Week after a successful first start for the Grecians.

Reid was something of a surprise selection in the starting XI when Exeter travelled to Kingsmeadow to face AFC Wimbledon.

However he vindicated the trust of the backroom staff by turning in a mature performance, which was capped with two great goals to twice give the Grecians the lead.

Regrettably City were held to a draw, as the Dons levelled twice through Luke Moore – who was also named amongst the division’s select team for last weekend.
