Match preview: Exeter City v Bury

Exeter City arrive back at St James Park in a rich vein of form, with a draw and two wins – and seven points – from the past three games.

But few teams are quite as in-form as Bury.  Undefeated since the opening weekend in League 2, the Shakers took all three points in their three most recent fixtures – leapfrogging their rivals Burton Albion last weekend with a win against the Brewers and going top of the pile.

Former Grecian Daniel Nardiello was twice a goalscorer in that game at Gigg Lane after coming off the bench – indeed Bury’s potent attack has been a telling factor in the opening two months.

But just as importantly, Bury have conceded just once in their four away league games so far this season – so City will need another good performance to triumph against the league leaders.
