Fun footie festival in Exeter

Teams of young footballers from Exeter and the surrounding areas are invited to take part in a special Summer event, hosted by Devon Football Association.

The Mini Football Festival for Under 9 and Under 10s is sponsored by Fresha Café - and will take place at St Luke’s School in Exeter on Sunday, June 28. All matches will be played on astro turf.

Organiser Matt Eddy said: “This is a great chance for teams to get their football fix outside of the main season.

“It’s also an opportunity to play teams that they might not normally go up against.”

Paul Banks, CEO of Fresha and an active supporter of sport in the community, hopes that as many teams as possible take part. “This will be a really fun occasion although we’re expecting fierce competition for the top spot!”
