The January transfer window is almost upon us. The Premier League has already confirmed the dates for the transfers which will be from January 1 and will close on January 31 at 2300 GMT. If you are into sports betting online and looking for promo codes for betting and casino, we are sure you want to know your odds. The one team that you might want to put your bets on now is Exeter City, and we will take a look why.

Clubs have agreed that no new players who are signed during the transfer window will play between 1-3 January.

Exeter City is one of the main clubs who is looking take full advantage of the transfer window. The Grecians Manager Matt Taylor is looking forward to adding new faces to his current squad.

The summer transfer for the 2018/19 season saw a successful transfer of new players to St James Park. Some of the new recruits included:

1. Aaron Martin

Aaron Martin was the first player to come through to The Grecians. He was a player at Oxford United until the end of the season. He made 19 appearances for the club.

2. Jonathan Forte.

The 31-year-old was the second transfer to make his way to St James Park. The former player of Notts County had played 79 times for his former club scoring twenty goals before moving to City.

3. Nicky Law.

Nicky Law made his move to City after a career at Bradford City. He had played two seasons for the later before finally moving to The Grecians.

4. Tristan Abraham.

Abraham's was the fourth signing to City on a loan deal from Norwich City. The 19-year-old midfielder has some experience having  League Two for his former club Leyton Orient during the 2018/2019 season.

Other successful signings during the summer transfer window included: Lee Martin, Jimmy Oates, Dara O'Shea and Chiedozie Ogbene.

The January transfer window will be a good one for Taylor who is seeking to add more manpower to his squad.

However, the Exeter Manage faces a big challenge is whether they can keep their 11 goal top scorer Jayden Stockley. Peterborough United has taken a keen interest on the frontman who was the top scorer during the 2017/18 season with 25 goals.

Rumours have it that Taylor has a release clause which means he can talk to any club about a possible transfer. However, Taylor is hoping that they can keep him for another two years.

Luke Croll whose City's defender has also emerged as another potential transfer. League One side Blackpool has taken an interest in the former Crystal Palace defender.

Croll has a chance to make his exit after failing to cement his mark on the team. He has made 17 appearances this season including. a 3-2 FA Cup loss with Blackpool.  Croll has made a total of 30 appearances since his signing with the Grecians. He joined City on loan but he signed a permanent contract with the Club last season.
